Upper Halliford station is situated just three-quarters of a mile away with a direct commute to Waterloo. Should you prefer to leave your car in the neighbouring village of Walton, then your train journey to Central London should take 23 minutes.

But there are many other engaging walks that you might want to go on, as surrounding villages: Walton, Lower Sunbury, Chertsey and Laleham also border the Thames. Clearly, by car you will have plenty of options for interesting outings to charming towns and locations such as relatively close Hampton Court, Kingston and Richmond, further afield. Whilst over the bridge from Shepperton, Walton-on-Thames offers an attractive mall with plenty of shopping outlets, Shepperton's own modern high street also boasts an array of shops and services, including laundries, restaurants, and cafes. You don't have to go far if you wish to stay put.
