Large Bright Double Bedroom

Hello, my name is Emma and you will be sharing my home with me. However, I spend most of my time in London so for about 3 weeks of the month you will have my home to yourself!

The house itself is a relatively new build (6 years old) and is a 3 bed house with kitchen, living room, bathroom and downstairs toilet, private driveway and large private garden.

Your room will be the master bedroom which is south facing and is very bright and airy with 2 big windows. These also have built in blinds for your privacy. There are 2 large built in wardrobes and also more storage space in a cupboard above the stairs. There is also a dressing table and ottoman with drawers and under bed storage.

The bed is king sized with a relatively firm, but super comfy, memory foam topped mattress.

In the lounge there are double patio doors out into a very well established garden. I love gardening and would be great if you did too. There is space to grow veg if you like. Also a BBQ, garden shed and outdoor dining area (which is a bit of a sun trap in the summer).

The living room also has a dining table (extends to seat 6), 3 seater sofa, chair, TV (not linked to an aerial but has Google Chromecast so you can watch Netflix etc), rock salt lamp, lava lamp, guitar, Sonos and lots of real plants (which you will need to water about once a week when I'm not there).

The bathroom is clean and modern. The downstairs toilet also has space for a clothes rack to dry your clothes.

Kitchen has everything you could possibly need in the way of crockery and utensils, pots and pans. Double oven, large fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, espresso coffee maker with milk steamer, washing machine, dishwasher. No microwave.

The other 2 rooms in the house would be my bedroom and a study/sewing room which would both be out of bounds. Use to the study/sewing room may be negotiable.

My house is in a quiet neighbourhood where there are lots of families and I have a good relationship with my neighbours.

Close to lots of amenities with the straiton retail park close, also ASDA and IKEA both within walking distance.

The beautiful and historic village of Roslin is also within walking distance. Free entrance to the Roslin Chapel if you are in my catchment area which is fascinating and also has a nice cafe.

There are loads of great walks from the house which I can recommend.

Also within walking Distance of the Bush estate and this property would suit anyone working there or mature students studying at the uni there.

There are 3 regular busses into the city centre, the quickest of which, X62, takes 25 minutes to the east end of Princes Street. Going the other way it takes you to Peebles and the Borders.

A bit about me, I am currently a yoga teacher and massage therapist with my own yoga studio in South Edinburgh. I'm moving down to London to spend more time with my fiancé and will be back to run workshops in Edinburgh and spend time with my family one week out of every month.

I try and live a eco friendly inspired life but also enjoy some of life's modern luxuries. I am sociable and always look for the good in people and things. I don't smoke or have any pets, although I do love animals.

I'm looking for someone who has good communication and if something breaks in the house I'd rather they tell me than hide it.

Overall I'm easy going and looking for someone I can get on with and maybe have a coffee with when I'm home. Mainly someone who will enjoy and respect my home as if it were their own.

I also have a cordless dyson which for me was a game changer. :-)
