Double Room in Bruntsfield

I'm moving to London and looking for someone to take over my tenancy in our lovely and homely Bruntsfield flat.

THE ROOM
The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside drawer and an armchair. There's also plenty of storage around the flat.

THE HOUSE
A classic tenement house on the beautiful Bruntsfield Place, just a five minute walk away from the Bruntsfield Links with loads of lovely cafés and the Union Canal nearby. Good bus links & everything in Edinburgh centre reachable on foot in 15-30 minutes.

The house has a huge lounge with beautiful windows and loads of room for craft/arts projects, as well as an extra desk for working from home. There are two toilets (one bathroom + single toilet). The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 fridge/freezers & a washing machine, and there is space to store bicycles.

THE FLATMATES
You’ll be living with Wanda, Lucy, Clara, and Jack. We all work/study in different fields - including academia, the arts, hospitality - and are from different places. While everyone has their own life going on, we also like to spend time together over various activities – cups of tea, cooking meals for one another, heading out for a hike.

The house definitely has a home vibe going on, and we’re looking for someone who will participate in chores & taking care of the flat. While this is not a massive party flat, friends are always welcome over and often do. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge for anyone to use for guests.

NUMBERS

- £720 pcm for the room
- Deposit £100
- Bills & council tax approx. £100 pcm over the year (Council band F)

Utility bills do depend on usage & overall pricing in the world, but this is what they have been previously.
