Sublet available double room for 5 months

Hi, human! :-)


We are 6 friendly flatmates looking for a 7th one to join us in this room. 🛌


The flat has a large living room that you are welcome to use anytime to read, study, do your yoga or whatever makes you happy!
It also has one bathroom and two toilets, a kitchen with all the tools and appliances you might need to cook, as well as a washing machine. You will have a cupboard in the kitchen and at least one shelf in one of our two fridges for your food.


We are looking for someone friendly and sociable, keen on sharing a little when we see each others. We're not looking for a party animal either, just someone we can share with, have a tea, outing or board game together, and don't really want someone that never says "Hi!". You get the idea.
Obviously if you are annoying, noisy, tend to invite too many people or if you're an alcoholic or drug addict, save us some time and don't contact us, thank you!
Most importantly, we want someone clean! As you can imagine, if 7 people start to be messy and all leave their dirty dishes in the kitchen and such, it will quickly be chaos! 😬


The flat is at the 3rd level of a building, there's a garden (shared with all the flats in the building) that you are free to use to store your bike or get tanned in the summer (oops wait, we're in Scotland!). The street name is Bruntsfield place (EH10 4HN) if you want to see where it is, it's a pretty neat location with the meadows a minute away, coffee places, the cameo cinema, restaurants, bus stops and everything you might need, it's also a 10 minutes walk to Grassmarket or the university.


This is a rent for a few months, with a possibility to be extended to a long term rental agreement.
Also, the room is available immediately and we need to find someone as quickly as possible to join us and fill the room.
The rent is £485, it includes all bills, internet and council taxes. We also all pay £20/month of "house money" to buy all the things we all use like toilet paper, soap for the dishes, washing powder, bin bags etc...
We also have a cleaning rota where two of us team up and clean the flat once week, so you basically need to be ok with cleaning half of the communal parts of the flat once a month - it only takes an hour tops.
