My roommate was a student and their classes and exams being cancelled due to to Covid-19, they have been forced to return home very last minute. As such, I am hoping to fill this room ASAP with either a working professional or a couple.

The room available is massive bedroom in a top floor, 2 bedroom flat (only 2 flights of stairs!) to rent from March 18th onward. Perfect for a person who wants/needs the extra space. Couples would pay £550pm

The room comes with heaps of storage; massive wardrobe, chest of drawers and bookcase as well as a little futon lounge with a single mattress inside. Perfect for guests (allowed and encouraged, we also have a nice inflatable mattress for short-term visitors) There's a window with a leafy outlook. With heating and carpet, its probably the warmest room in the apartment. Excellent conditions for pot plants.

Apartment on the whole is a little tired but is neat and tidy, with heaps of character and is very spacious. It comes with all the necessities like a washing machine, electric shower, gas stovetop and even a dishwasher - plus - a back garden to die for!
Direct buses to the city at the top of the street about 10-15 minutes to the Haymarket and about 20 minutes to Princes st. We’re also right on the route for the 300 airport bus - so handy if you like to/have to travel.

I'm a pretty easy going Australian who is always happy to share the occasional home cooked meal together, maybe open a bottle of something and shout at the TV during GBBO. I'm happy to share/trade chores, or to just tidy up after ourselves, which we can discuss. This is not a party place as we are in a block with a fair few oldies and enjoy home being a reasonably peaceful place. This is a queer friendly house.

Bills not included. All to be split in half or or 3 ways for couples (negotiable)

- £177pm approx for council tax
- Energy bill is £66 pm year round
