I am looking for someone to take over the lease from my current flatmate as she is relocating to another city. **Please read through the advert to make sure you are happy with it before contacting me**.
About the room
It is a double bedroom of adequate size. You will have the bathroom all to yourself as my bedroom comes with an en-suite.
1. The wooden cubicle covered with post-it houses the boiler for the flat
2. The room has a single wardrobe and chest of drawers
3. The TV does not come with the room
About the area and flat
The property is situated in a prestigious block of flats in Slateford with a private gym for residents and a concierge. It is on the fifth floor with lift access. It has underground and unallocated parking spaces. It is surrounded by many supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Salisbury's, 24 hour ASDA, etc) and other intercontinental stores.
The flat comes with a large hallway, a good size living room and a separate kitchen.
The property is let through an agency and they are insisting the new flatmate must agree to lease the room in its current state and from the 16th of June.
Gas & electricity: £50-60 (a share of £25-30). The EPC for the flat is B
Council tax is Band D: currently around £150 (a share of £75)
Wifi: £26 (a share of £13)
About me and the potential flatmate
I am a 32 year old female professional and non-smoker. I have lived in the flat for 2 years now and I absolutely love the flat and the area. The flat is my home, a place I resort to after the day's hard work. Therefore, i endeavor to keep it quiet, clean and well maintained. I love to cook and bake. Because i love food, i try to workout as much as i can, so the residential gym came quite handy before the lockdown.
I am looking for a mature female professional and a non-smoker. Someone, who I can have a good chat with, share a meal once in a while but I am also happy if you'd prefer not to. I'd like someone who is very considerate and gives thought to how their actions around the flat will affect their flatmate. I would like someone who cleans after themselves and is happy to maintain a cleaning rota that we would agree on. Kindly note that the flat is not a place for loud night parties, post the pandemic.
