Room to let in 2-bed, 3rd floor apartment in Meadowbank, right next to Holyrood park and 15-minute walk from Waverley station. Bus stop visible from the window with access to town centre and all the universities via routes 5, or 45 (as well as 4, 44, or 26).

Double glazing, and gas central heating. Single bed, full access to shared living space, kitchen, etc. I'm a recent graduate, working as a professional musician. My partner, Rachel, works at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and is studying for a Masters' degree in Psychology! We're both into walks, going to town for a cafe or pub visit, and movies in the living room are a regular evening event!

We're looking for someone to fill the room for a few months start of 2024, with a provisional end-date in May or June, but we're flexible with that so do feel free to let us know if you fall near or just outside that window!

Peter is a speaker of German (with mixed ability depending on mood), whilst Rachel is learning Italian. We especially welcome people who speak those languages as its always a good chance to practice! We're often travelling for either work or leisure so you may find that quite often you either have the place to yourself, or just one of us is there with you.

We run a dogsitting service for people in the local area, which means we quite often have some cute dogs staying with us. We're happy to consult and make sure any dogs staying over work with you, as we are usually able to go to their houses too, but if you like to have some fluffy friends then this is the ideal place for you!

The room comes with chest of drawers, large bookcase (can be seen in hallway photo), and a desk. We're currently amidst sorting the place out with more furniture, so if you're needing some specific things we're happy to grab some extra bits of furnishing for you if you need - just ask!

Utilities average £40/month (each), but they're metered so that will fluctuate month-to-month. Council Tax band C, which will be divided between the three of us, unless you're council tax exempt in which case we will pay the full amount.
