Double room in a spacious flat in Leith

Hello,

My name is Michael and I’m looking for a flatmate to share a big 2-bed flat overlooking Leith :)

The location

The flat is well situated in a vibrant, but calm area. There are coffee shops, Tesco Express, various grocery stores, Post Office and many other amenities on the same street within 2 minutes walk.

Leith Walk is just around the corner with everything that it provides and the city centre is just 15 min by bus.

Water of Leith and Leith Links are only 5-10 min by foot as well.

The flat

The flat is a spacious, two-storey maisonette style.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with all white goods, two double bedrooms, bathroom (with shower and bath), and two storage cupboards.

On the second floor upstairs there is a large living room with sofa, desk, lots of plants and board games, three storage cupboards, and a southwest facing balcony with a good view.

There is a lot of space for storage in the cupboards, so if you have plenty of stuff, that’s ok! 🙂

The flat was renovated this month, freshly painted, new carpets in the rooms, new fire alarms and a brand new fridge/freezer.

The rent

The rent is £400 per month without bills and £530 (including council tax, internet, gas&electricity) with bills.

Me

I’m easy going, friendly and tidy, happy to hangout, go out for drinks and respect your space too.

I’m looking for someone respectful with high standards regarding cleanliness and just reliable and mature in general. You can expect the same from me :)

I love everything sci-fi&fantasy, books, games, travelling, gym and outdoors trips.

I have lived here for 2.5 years so far. My former flatmate had to move away due to Covid, but I don’t want to leave this flat!
