New flatmate wanted for bright and cosy room

The window of your future room?

Hi everyone,
a room is becoming available in this four-person shared flat as I will unfortunately be moving out of Edinburgh due to work. The room is available from the 15/02 or from the 01/03.

We are looking for someone to move in with us for a minimum of six months. You would be living with two PhD students (maths and biology) and one other person working, which is why we are looking for a female professional, so you can share the Council Tax bill.

We are living in a bright and spacious first floor flat, well located on Dalkeith Road. After a five minutes’ walk, you can be at Holyrood Park, from the kitchen window you can watch the people that have climbed up on Arthur’s Seat. Cameron Toll (with Sainsbury, Holland & Barrett’s, Waterstones, Aldi, Boots, etc.), the Refillery, Restaurants and Cafés are under 15 minutes away.

Your room is fully furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawer, bed, nightstand, and a desk. The light that shines through the window fills the whole room perfectly. When you look out of the beautiful window, you see trees and the sky. While I was living in the room, I tried different furniture positions and was surprised how versatile the room is. I liked living here!

The flat has a spacious kitchen with walk-in larder, a washing machine, two fridges, and lots of kitchen equipment. There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, one with a shower. Our large hallway has also lots of storage space, you might even be able to store a bike inside, if you would need to.

We are also happy to have a spacious living room with period style features as a bay window and decorative cornice work. In summer, one of us uses every spare cm in front of the window to grow herbs, chillies, and tomatoes! We others prefer to use the room to exercise, work, or watch a movie!

We respect one another and our shared space. It's a quiet flat, and we largely do our own thing, but when it happens, we enjoy sitting together over a cup of tea or spending time together while we cook. We all do like to cook! : )
