Furnished Cosy Double Room in New Build House

Hey! My name is Maya, I'm 24 and I'm a professional based in Edinburgh. I'm looking for a new female flatmate to move into the large spare room of my current 3 bedroom new build. The property is situated 20 mins away from the city centre in MortonHall and is available from now. I’m offering the fully furnished double room for £400pm. WiFi, Council Tax and gas/electricity not included but approx £50 - 70pm.

The house is fully furnished in a lovely, safe and quiet area of MortonHall. The property has excellent bus links to all parts of Edinburgh. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room (now with a tv) with a open plan patio door and a garden (which is a perfect sun trap in the summer!). The garden now features a bunch of cute fairy lights, a barbecue and 2 padded sun loungers which are perfect for relaxing summer days with friends. There is also free parking outside of the property. Your room would include a king-size bed, a wardrobe, bedside table, lamp and a chest of drawers.

I'm looking for someone who is tidy, friendly, kind, easy going and who I can have a laugh with. I'm really hoping to find someone that I can spend time with (I love a good gals movie night!) but who will also respect my private time. This arrangement would be ideal for students looking to rent a room for this academic year or any working professional looking to move out without too much financial strain but l’m open to any female.

I’m a full time manual wheelchair user and although I’m very independent I still require minimal daily support from carers. Therefore my new flatmate would need to feel comfortable having my carers come to support me in the mornings and evenings. Currently I have 3 regular female carers in their 20's and 30’s that I have privately employed so it would not be different unknown people each week. It would be very important to me that the flatmate felt like my home was their home and feel comfortable here. Previously, my flatmates have built up a good rapport with my carers and it has been a lovely environment.

A little bit about me. I would describe myself as friendly, sociable, determined, a little sarcastic and easy-going. I'm Edinburgh born and bred! Other than acting (my work) | absolutely love travelling, meeting new people, writing, swimming and girls nights in/out! I also love going to festivals and live music! My favourite food is cheese and pasta and I really enjoy watching Bridgerton, The Last of Us and Modern Family. Even though this is not a party house I’m eager to find a flatmate that would up for socialising together and with our friends in and out of the house.
