Seeking Covid-conscious summer lodger(s)

The bedroom that's available

Hi! I have a nice double room to let in my flat over the summer months (the room is available from now-ish till mid-September). I'm flexible on the time period, although will prioritise people who want to stay for longer stretches.

It's a two-bedroom flat, with a separate living-room and kitchen, in the Pilrig area - so pretty close to the centre! My friend and I will be sharing the other bedroom.

We are very friendly, although we'll both be pretty busy studying this summer (as we will both be students next year). We're into a range of vaguely nerdy things :) One of us is particularly into improv and maths and programming (and many other things), and the other is particularly into reading and politics and the environment (although both of us are into the same sorts of things really). We're veggie/nearly veggie; we don't really mind what you eat, although being veggie would be a bonus.

LGBTQIAA+-friendly :). No smokers.

Our biggest need in a lodger, apart from general considerateness, is someone who's still very careful about Covid and who still takes Covid precautions (e. g. wearing an FFP2 mask when in crowded places). We'd also prefer someone who will not bring people back to the flat (for Covid reasons). We'd prefer a student (for council tax reasons) but that's not essential.

The flat's looking a bit bare at the moment (and I don't think these photos show it to its best advantage), but I'm planning on getting some rugs and other furnishings to make it feel more homely :) (I've been away for a while and am only just coming back, so haven't had a chance to do this.)

Rent is inclusive of bills.

My most important priority is to find Covid-conscious people. I think a standard (bills-inclusive) rent in the area would be around £450-600 for a long-term let, and for a short let during the summer in Edinburgh would be quite a bit higher.
