FLATMATE NEEDED URGENTLY
I am moving out for the summer and unfortunately have to give up my room in a 2-bedroom flat in Orchard Brae Avenue. I will be vacating the flat on the 19th of May but we are happy for someone to move in anytime between 20th May - 1st June
Rent is £650 a month, gas and electric comes to about £60 a month, and WIFI £13.25
The room is spacious with a built in single wardrobe. There is also a built in single wardrobe directly by the room in the hallway
You would be living with my current roommate (happy to put you in contact) Hugh. He is 23 and works a 9-5 as an engineer. The flat:
- There is 2 bedrooms
- Large hallway with 1 extra built in wardrobe and 3 storage cupboards (2 of which have some shelving to put things on - I have been using these to store some of my things so I assume they will be free for you to use)
- Kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge-freezer, an oven and a grill
- Large living room with 2 sofas, 4-person dining table and coffee table.
- The room that Hugh is in has an en-suite so the bathroom in the picture will be just yours. There is a bath, shower screen, large mirror with a recess above the sink
- The flat is about a 10-15min walk from Craigleith Retail Park (big Sainsburys, M&S, Boots, Lidl, TKMaxx) and Waitrose in Comley Bank
- It's about a 15min walk from Stockbridge and Inverleith park
- It's about a 15-20min walk from the west end of Princes Street or a short bus ride (bus links: 43, 47, 37, 24, 19, 29 - I might be missing some, there's plenty of bus stops within a 5min walk)
- The flat also comes with some basic kitchen equipment (plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery pots and pans etc), I haven't had to buy anything additionally, but there is still plenty of space to store things if you have anything that needs to go in the kitchen
- There is an available parking space in a sheltered / locked parking garage, as Hugh doesn't drive
