Unfortunately our flat gets very little sunlight, and doesn’t heat up well, but it has character! Water pressure is low in the shower. Access is up the Vennel steps, so please consider this if you have accessibility issues. There is no TV in our living room.
Shed for bike storage (though you will have to climb a lot of steps to get here!)
Shared garden a little up from our flat
Central location- Buses from Grassmarket/Lauriston Place
Nearest supermarket- Sainsburys 5 min walk, Lidl 20 min walk

Bills approx. £40-60pp/month
Wifi £9 pp/month
Council tax -Band D- £83 pp/month (approximation as my last flatmate was a student so the we will need to be issued a new bill as it will be split half between us)

Hello! My name is Mikayla and I am a 29 year old support worker from Ireland originally. I do a mixture of working from home and in the office/in the community. I am an introvert and would like our home to be a place in which we can relax and be comfortable in. I am always happy to spend time chatting a little, having the odd meal/tea/coffee together, or going out for a walk/hike. If you want a friend, you’ll have one in me, but equally I’ll respect your space 😊 When I have the time, I enjoy learning various crafts (weaving/knitting/embroidery etc), anything creative, baking, cooking, tending to my plants, swimming, walking (and learning to forage), cycling, doing yoga, reading and writing. I am vegan so let me know if you are vegan/veggie too (not a requirement however)😊 It shouldn’t have to be said, but I would like to say that of course this flat is LGBTQ+ friendly. I am trying not to spend too much on bills/heating, so it would be preferable if you were also considerate of this- for me it’s a balance of making our space comfortable but simply being considerate of each other, the planet and the bills!
