City centre room near Meadows – £230/week

I’m moving out to live with friends, so I’m reluctantly looking for someone to take over my very comfortable room.

It’s honestly very rare to find something like this in central Edinburgh — only around £230 per week (!!) which is cheaper than the official website price.
Contract until the end of August.

Room Information

• One room in 5BPL (Buccleuch Place Lane)
• Second floor
• Great orientation with lots of natural light ☀️
• Very warm in winter – the heating works so well I could wear short sleeves indoors
• Faces the common room area but surprisingly very quiet, great for sleeping

Flat & Flatmates

• All-female flat (5 people total) – female tenants only
• Large kitchen
• Flatmates are very friendly and easy to get along with, we often cook together
• Student accommodation – very safe

Location

• 🚶‍♀️ Just a few minutes walk to the Main Library – perfect if you study late and want to get home safely (very important!!)
• 🚶‍♀️ Walking distance to Bristo Square for the shuttle bus to King’s Buildings (KB)
• About 30 min walk to KB – I sometimes enjoy walking there when the weather is nice
• 🥢 Surrounded by Chinese supermarkets (Aihua / Starlight), Chinese restaurants, cafés, etc.
• 🚌 Many nearby bus stops including St Patrick Square and Chapel Street
• 🏋️ 12 min walk to the Pleasance Gym, and also convenient to PureGym Simpson Loan
• 🌸 Only 3–4 minutes from The Meadows – perfect for running, walking, and enjoying the cherry blossoms in spring (also very important!!)

Amazing location + quiet room + super warm in winter + lovely flatmates

Honestly, it’s hard to find a room this good and this affordable in the city centre.
