🏡 About the room + flat
The available room comes with a double bed, desk, large wardrobe and drawers and plenty of storage space, great daylight and a view of the building’s garden (great space for BBQ, hanging laundry bonfires…). We even have an apple tree and flowers that bloom during the spring and summer!
The rest of the flat is cozy and lived in shared space and gets great light especially during the sunny days. A great option for someone looking for a comfortable place to live and study/ work.
In addition, the building is a lovely community mix of professionals, students, and a family downstairs. Everyone is really supportive and we even have a groupchat!

🙋🏾‍♀️ About me
I am doing my PhD at the University of Edinburgh working on understanding and improving maternal healthcare for migrant women.
When I am not in the lab or the ivory tower, I enjoy deep conversations, long walks outdoors, yoga, reading, escape rooms/treasure hunts, and board games.
I am vegetarian and would prefer living with someone veg (or at least willing to cook veg in the flat) as well.
Also, I’m an avid tea drinker, indefatigable beach goer, and I watch and analyze anime and manga
Hobby wise, I practice martial arts, theatre, and enjoy being active in my community. I bake quite often, and I love making crêpes and sharing them ^^

👯‍♀️ We will get along if you:
* Actually value and proactively maintain shared spaces clean and tidy
* Enjoy discussions about social justice, culture, history, arts, and of course anime! I
* Share similar values about social justice
* Believe in community and do your part to be a ‘good villager’
* Value open communication
* Are vegan/vegetarian

🤝 As a flatmate I will be respectful of your space, we do not have to be besties but it is important that we are a match and feel comfortable around each other. I would really appreciate someone with who I can chat with, share meals, and create a space and dynamic where we can support and celebrate each other.

📩 When reaching out please send me a bio to tell me about you :D
I am happy to do video viewings and chats to get to know each other and will be hosting in person views from the second half of March.
