Spacious double bedroom in the heart of Stockbridge. You will be living in one of Edinburgh’s most desirable areas, with cafe’s, pubs, shops, etc on your doorstep. The flat is a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre. There are lots of great natural spaces nearby such as the Water of Leith pathway (2 minute walk), Inverleith Park (5 minute walk) and Botanical Gardens (5 minute walk).
The flat is a two bedroom, ground floor property with access to a large shared garden. Both bedrooms are very large. Your room has enough size to fit a desk and chair in, if you work from home. There is a shared bathroom, with separate shower and bath. Large kitchen with all equipment and cooking appliances. The living room has a large space, I have a TV and PlayStation 5 and also have all streaming platforms available for you to use that I pay for. You would have free use of those. Throughout the flat there is excellent storage space.
I have a 4 year old dog, called Kira. She is a Giant Schnauzer crossed with a Poodle so she is fully hypoallergenic and does not shed fur at all. She is extremely friendly and cuddly and I have trained her very well. She is well known in the area of Stockbridge, especially at the St Vincent bar.
A bit about me: I work from home as a Financial Advisor, but often leave for in person meetings. I go to the gym and play for a local football team, as well as socially. I love music and play guitar and am in the (very slow) process of trying to build a record collection. I’m a laid back person despite being active. I love to cook, having worked as a chef in the past. I enjoy going out to pubs and restaurants regularly, although I don’t drink much these days.
As my partying days are well behind me, I’m not accepting any students. I’d be looking for a professional to move in who is social, friendly, likes dogs and is laid back/easygoing like myself.
We will share cleaning responsibilities evenly, keeping the flat clean and tidy. I’m not a clean freak, but I like the flat to look nice. Bills are not included in the rent and we would split everything 50/50, which includes council tax (Band E), energy costs and WiFi. Per person it works out to be £150-£200 per month.
