Double bedroom to let in a flat in the centre of the southside. The flat is three minutes walk from the Meadows, six minutes walk from the University central campus, fifteen minutes walk from King's Buildings, and twenty minutes from the city centre and Waverley Station.
The flat is double bedroom in a two bedroom flat. The flat has an open plan kitchen and living room (pictures 1-3), a single bathroom with a stand up shower (picture 4) and two double bedrooms. The flat has a washing machine, oven, microwave and all the essentials, and a large cupboard for bulky items.
The flat is on a secluded courtyard (Grange Court on Google street view), with parking available and parking permits associated with the property purchasable. The flat also has a private stairwell, with CCTV outside the flat and bike storage outside the flat (picture 5).
The entire flat is furnished, with a bed, mattress, desk and ample storage space. The bedroom is south facing, looking over gardens. (Photos 6-8, although better photos will be posted shortly). I've lived in this flat since I was at university, and it's genuinely the best combination of location and flat that I've ever stayed in. Personally, I feel it's underpriced, at £600 per person pcm.
My flatmate is moving out to purchase his own flat, and as such, I already have internet, gas and electric sorted out.
I'm a 26 year old professional, and I work with refugees and on refugee policy. I work a mixture from home and in the city centre. I enjoy cooking, painting, I have a regular social calendar; I do pub quiz every week with friends and I'm away in London for weekends occasionally. Id be looking for someone of a similar age to me, hence the age range, but I don't really mind between student, postgraduate student, or professional,
The lease is available from June 1st. I'm not particularly so open that I'd pick the first person; I'd be looking for something that feels right, or at minimum someone I feel I could share a space with, even if we're just coexisting. However obviously there's a time limit, and therefore there's a degree of time sensitivity. I'd prefer a proper lease signed with the letting agent, however I would be open to a sublease with some sort of guarantee.
