Meadowbank / £728 incl bills / start of May

Hello! Our dear friend has just moved out of our tenement flat in Meadowbank and so we have a bedroom available.

We’re looking for someone to move in from the beginning of May ideally but happy to negotiate if you need some extra time.

The bedroom is spacious with a wardrobe, desk/vanity, bookshelf and drawers.

The flat itself has a lovely living room with an original fireplace, high ceilings and bay windows looking on to the Firth of Forth. There is one bathroom, kitchen, a hallway with storage cupboards and a shared garden.

Location wise, there are plenty of bus routes to Princes Street which take around 15 minutes. We’re next to Arthur’s Seat and a 10 minute walk from Holyrood Park. For food shops, it’s a 5 minute walk down to Morrisons. It’s a safe and quiet area of town.

Rent and bills including wifi, energy, gas and council taxi is £728 from July 1st when our rent increases. Until then it’s around £644.

About us

We’re a couple, both 26, working in the arts/tourism. Big fans of music, drag, cinema, reading. Very LGBTQ+ friendly. Enjoy a night out, but equally happy staying in with a film and takeaway. I’m a musician and he is a drag queen so you’d need to be okay with a little noise during sociable hours.

Ideally we’d like a young professional for council tax reasons.
