Double room in a great location

Hello potential flatmates.

I am looking for somebody to share my little flat, just outside Edinburgh centre close to the union canal.

The room is a small furnished double that is very bright and looks out onto the garden with plenty of robins, squirrels and foxes much like the animals of farthing wood.

The flat has its own garden and plenty of shed storage if you cycle! There is also a communal garden area to hang out washing and catch some of Scotland’s blinding rays in the summer.

The flat is in a very quiet, leafy street with plenty of shops, cafes and parks close by. Free parking if you have an automobile or major bus routes are just a street over. It’s about a 15 minute cycle to Princes street.

I have just finished renovating most of the place, but still have a bit to do, so ideally hoping to find someone that won’t mind coming home to the walls being a different colour every so often. Very happy for people to change the room colour/hang pictures and so on. Go crazy.

There’s unlimited wifi and virgin tv and good central heating. Looking for around a 6 month flatmate at the moment but not too fussed if it’s short term.

About me: I’m a 27 year old from Perth Australia, I’ve been living in London and Norwich the past few years and moved to Edinburgh in March to run a Bike shop here. I like getting outside, tinkering with bikes, art and design and catching some live music when I can.

Looking to share with someone who has similar interests and is fairly relaxed, that will respect the flat and enjoy a meal or drink together occasionally. Bills should all be included but will have to check on the council tax with a second person.
