Double room for rent close to city centre

I’m renting out the spare room in my flat in Abbeyhill (behind Holyrood palace). It’s a modern 2 bed flat with a large kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, and cosy living room. The flat has central heating, a washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, and plenty of storage space. The room for rent has a double bed, desk and chair, a built in wardrobe and other storage units. There is also plenty of off-street parking spaces right outside the door, with supermarkets, restaurants and shops a short walk away. The bottom of Royal Mile can be reached in 5 mins and Princes Street is only a 15 mins walk.

About me: I’m a nurse for NHS Lothian so I often work several long shifts in a row. I’m easy-going, love socialising and travelling. I’ve lived abroad and enjoy meeting people from other countries, I also speak Spanish. I enjoy having friends over quite often and you’d be welcome to do the same. I love going out to bars/clubs at the weekend but I equally enjoy having time to myself sometimes binge watching Netflix series after a long day at work.

My boyfriend stays here the majority of the time and he’s also chilled out. We aren’t the type of couple that only wants eachother’s company so 3rd wheeling does not even come into the equation!
We have a pet rabbit called Hagrid and he’s such a good boy :) you’re welcome to bring a small pet or house trained dog that doesn’t cast too much to live with you. I also look after my family dog sometimes so being ok with animal is a must. No cats, I’m allergic, sorry :(

Looking for someone as social and lively as me as I do have friends visiting all the time and you’d need to be comfortable with that. You of course would be welcomed in as part of the family!!

I’m generally very laidback and open and any issues we may encounter I would want to sort out and move on from it rather than it becoming a thing and causing a negative atmosphere.

Ideally looking for 6 months or longer but please contact me anyway if you’re looking for a shorter stay :)
