Big Sunny Double Room in Lovely Telford Apartment

Free from August 15th, this is a large double room in a three bed apartment with just one other tenant (which means we share the third double room as a guest room; incredible for the rent we pay!) This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a quiet and safe residential area on numerous bus routes to basically every corner of Edinburgh (including a very reliable night bus), just a ten minute journey from Princes Street or twenty minutes to Ocean Terminal. There is a small Waitrose five minutes away and a large Morrison's just a ten-fifteen minute walk away. Craigleith shopping centre is also a fifteen minute walk away along a gorgeous green pedestrian route that will take you all the way Haymarket, and there are bars and restaurants nearby. The Western General is also on our doorstep.
The apartment is incredibly well insulated and easy to heat in the winter. In the summer, we enjoy the morning sun on the balcony. The flat also has a ridiculous amount of storage, a balcony, the spare guest room already mentioned, a good power shower, a spacious living room with black leather sofas, a well equipped kitchen and a communal area downstairs for large bins and shared washing lines.
The advertised bedroom has a large window so lots of light, (I am definitely not jealous of the evening sun that streams in) a comfy double bed, loads of floor space and an Ikea wardrobe. There's lots of room for your own furniture also.
I have been living in this flat since 2017 and adore it. So, I am staying while my housemate moves out to live with her wonderful boyfriend. My name is Beth and I am a 27 year old Irish professional who has been living in Edinburgh for almost two years now and loving it! It is important to me that my housemate is very considerate of others (I'm an early night, early morning gal thanks to work) and is also neat and tidy and takes pride in the appearance of the apartment; I try hard to make it a haven and most of the furnishings and things are mine so it has taken a lot to make it look so well! It is important that you are conscious of the environment too.

I am a very optimistic, active and sociable person with a good sense of humour who eats as well as a chocolate and wine lover can and who loves coming home at the end of a crap day and having a housemate who will share a glass of wine and chill for the evening... but who also respects time apart. I will be looking for a housemate who is naturally considerate, neat and generally similar to me in these ways. I don't want to be made into the ""mammy" who needs to tell you to do your dishes, or your part of the weekly cleaning, or to have to ask you to also take full bins out. Someone who takes the initiative on these things would be a dream!
