Flat mate wanted
Hi there, my name's Jo. I live with my husband and we are looking for someone to share our flat. We are quite active and enjoy sport and socialising with friends when we are together.
The flat was recently renovated, with 2 dbl beds, a modern kitchen living area and a shared shower room (no bath).
We have a shared garden / driveway. If you drive, there is a public carpark available close by and some limited off street parking.
Post box and bus stop immediately outside the property with direct links into Edinburgh (approx 30mins). Playing field behind the property, local pub directly opposite and Papermill restaurant 100 yards away.
Tesco is 10min drive/bus ride and smaller shops and amenities, 5mins away in Bonnyrigg.
25m drive from the airport and City Bypass is 10m drive.
The room is a good sized dbl, looking out onto the street. Fully furnished. The road outside is quite busy during rush hour , so there is noise from the traffic.
The ideal person would be down to earth friendly and considerate. We would rather no couples as the flat can feel cramped, however, I understand that things change and can negotiate terms should a relationship start.
I'm not totally opposed to smoking if it's done outside the building, pets will be considered if small and well behaved (deposit and rent may be higher).
The add is based on someone who works full time. If you will be in the house for longer periods of time, the rent / bills will need to be reviewed.
Approx Price of individual bills per flatmate:
Broadband and telephone: ££9.50pcm
Council tax: £60pcm
Gas and electricity: Fluctuates, but £30pcm
TV licence: £6 per month
