Festival Let - Bright Twin/Double Room

Ad ref# 12360928

I’m looking to rent out the room from August 1st - 15th. Could potentially split this into two separate lets, and am open to adding on a day or two at the end. Please only get in touch if you’d like to rent the room for a week or more in this period during Edinburgh Fringe. The room sleeps two, so I can also accommodate a couple or two friends.

**

The apartment is your home during your stay here in Edinburgh. Please make use of the kitchen, use the pots and pans and choose from your coffee-making device of choice - I have a filter coffee machine, as well as a percolator.

The apartment is well-situated in the Leith area of Edinburgh, a 35-minute walk or a 15-minute bus away from Edinburgh Waverley (central station). On top of that, it’s only 10 minutes away from the sea! Leith Shore (as the old dock area is known) has its own distinct feel, full of nice cafes, bars and shops. Most people that visit Edinburgh never get a chance to see any of it!

The kitchen dining room/ living room is what will make you fall in love with the apartment. It’s light and spacious, and gets stunning light in every morning. It also offers fantastic views over the city, including both of Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat.

The bedroom has stackable single beds that can be put together to form a double or used as two singles. It faces the road, but it’s not very busy at all: I often sleep with the windows open without problem.

It’s super easy to reach the apartment, no matter how you are travelling:

CAR

Free on-street parking directly outside the apartment, with no permit or payment required.

BUS

If coming from the airport, take the Skylink 200 bus (£4.50 single) all the way to the last stop, then it’s a 10-minute walk.

If coming from Edinburgh Waverley central station, take the bus number 7 or 14 (£1.70 single) from North Bridge for 15 minutes to the stop “Dudley Avenue South”, then it’s a 2-minute walk.

WALK

If coming from the city centre, there’s a nice footpath you can follow that means you don’t have to walk on roads. It follows the route the old railway used to run on, so the path takes you through an old tunnel. It’s a really pretty route and gives you a nice take on the city most people will never get to experience.
