SHORT-TERM LET: DOUBLE BEDROOM AT THE SHORE, LEITH

This is a short-term let, as I’m planning some home renovations later in the year when family comes to visit. There is some flexibility with both move-in and move-out dates, so feel free to ask.

ABOUT THE FLAT

A cosy ground-floor flat located at The Shore, Leith. The flat has two double bedrooms: one is mine, and the other (the larger room) will be yours.

There’s one shared bathroom (with a bathtub for long soaks), and a bright open-plan living space with a big dining table, perfect for dinners, chats, or the occasional glass of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped (just no microwave, consider it a lifestyle choice), and there’s a washing machine too.

Bonus: a little urban garden in front that I’m trying to bring to life. If you’ve got green fingers (or want to), you’re very welcome to join in.

The location is fantastic, right by the Shore in Leith, with excellent public transport links: a bus stop just around the corner and a tram stop less than 5 minutes away. The neighbourhood is vibrant, with plenty of shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and lovely walking spots nearby.

ABOUT YOUR ROOM

Your bedroom is a spacious double room with a double bed, desk, and a large wardrobe. Bed linen and covers are provided for your stay.

ABOUT ME

I’m into sustainability, good food, and a calm, friendly home. I like my own space but also enjoy the occasional shared meal or catch-up. I sometimes host small dinner nights, you’re always welcome to join. Weekends usually involve being outdoors whenever possible.

Looking for someone kind, tidy, and respectful, easygoing and happy to share a peaceful, friendly space.

A QUICK NOTE ON WORKING FROM HOME
This probably isn’t the best fit if you work from home full-time. The flat is lovely and relaxed, but not really set up as an all-day workspace. Ideal for someone who works out and about, studies part-time, or just needs a comfortable base.
