Spacious double attic room available in a beautiful double upper flat in Leith.

The room is a great size. I've turned the sofabed into a large double. There's a desk set up, storage and access to a personal TV. It has a ton of natural light and a view of the city and Arthur's seat. There's also black out blinds and it holds heat super well.

The flat has a large fully equipped kitchen with a massive rangemaster, so if you love cooking you'll hopefully get great use out of it. The living room is cosy but bright, and there is an additional little mini office nook that I had set up for when I was WFH which I rarely do now so if you do WFH that can be an option for you to use.

The bathroom has a bath and a walk in shower and is seperate from the WC, so no hanging around waiting on one of us to be done in the shower to use the toilet!

There is two internal staircases so this flat isn't very accessible.

Another big thing to note, I have a pet pug. He's super friendly and would very much want to spend time with you, so you need to be comfortable with dogs and having dog hair as an additional layer. He's actually very chill and sleeps most of the time and has a regular dog walker when I'm not about.

The flat is in a great Leith location with easy access to the city centre, buses, trams, cafés, bars and shops nearby. The parking is free, on street, so just first come, first serve and can get busy in evenings but you'll find a space around nearby roads.

About me
Im a pretty laid back but socialble person. I work a corporate 9-5 job and spend it mostly in the office, so if you work from home there's a good chance you'll have the place to yourself during the day. I spend a couple evenings out of the flat at netball and a writing class and I go to the gym 3 times a week after work as well. I'm pretty routine and tend to keep busy but do like chilling out on the sofa a few evenings a week as well. My weekends are mostly spent chilling out and taking the dog out on big walks.

Who I'm looking for
Due to a change in circumstances, this room has become available but it is my home and I do love it and want to ensure I find someone who will enjoy living here and respect it.

Ultimately I'm just looking for someone who is clean, respectful and easygoing who’s after a relaxed and comfortable place to stay. I'd ideally want someone who is good at communicating their plans and schedules so we can ensure we know what our days are likely to look like, and if either of us want to be more or less social we can adapt to that.

I'm of course happy to allow for visitors as I do want it to be seen as your home as well, but I would need a heads up in advance and all needs to be within reason. I would return the favour of giving a heads up too about who would be coming and going.

This really isn't a party flat, I'm in my 30s and I mostly like to chill out with my cute dog. Looking for someone with a similar vibe and we can figure the rest out together.

The room is only available for 8 months maximum from the move in date.
