1 room available for a Post graduate student in Marchmont. The flat is available from the 15th of September 2018. The Bedroom is a single room but comes with an additional study room and is rented out for £375.00pcm. You will be sharing with 1 PhD student and 2 masters students.

The flat includes GCH, shared bathroom (with power shower and roll top tub), utility room, pantry, a large fully equipped kitchen/ dining area. as well as multiple shared storage closets. The Kitchen also has a sofa in it and is used as to entertain.

Marchmont is a highly desirable area close to University of Edinburgh (10 mins), with cinemas/ theaters, cafes, bars and a gym close by. The flat also borders Bruntsfeild and is 5 minutes from Toll Cross so there are a lot of options to keep yourself busy. The flat is a stone’s throw from the Meadows and the Bruntsfeild Links. Moreover it is only 20 minute walk/10 minute bus ride from the city centre.

The current flat mates are me (27 year old male from Hertfordshire), Robyn (21 year old female from Dublin, Ireland), Alice (24 year female from Surrey). We're all post graduates.

We're looking for a clean, reliable, friendly housemate (male or female). You must be a postgraduate students (landlords requirement) and we're hoping you are able to commit to a 6 month to a year lease. Preferably 22-35 years old (but I won’t discriminate on age). It’d be great if you’re someone who is sociable, friendly and up for doing things as a flat but respects that at different times of the year people will be busy and are considerate of that. The odd party is fine but the flat is not suitable for someone who wants to turn the flat in Pacha every Friday and Saturday.

The landlords are pretty cool and as long as we respect the flat and the neighbours they have no problems. In previous years the landlords have met with perspective tenants for a coffee before signing the contract, however if you are outside of Edinburgh and this is impossible a call to them will most likely be enough.

There is no-smoking in the flat and for post graduate students only. The landlords have also specified no couples and sadly no pets. Deposit is equal to the first month’s rent and bills are paid quarterly (about £65 each) and internet monthly (£8 each). Rent is paid on the first of each month.
