Marchmont Double Room available

Hi hi Edinburgh pals,

I am looking for someone to fill a double room in a flat on Argyle Place in Marchmont EH9 (1 min walk from the meadows!!). The flat has 2 bedrooms with a third smaller room for guests, and the rent is £500 PCM (excluding bills). I’m preferably looking for a student to take the room for council tax purposes, ideally an upper-year UG/ postgrad or masters student (per the landlady’s preference) and also as I’m imagining this will be a quiet-ish study flat.

You’ll be sharing with me :) I’m going into my final year at University of Edinburgh (studying Philosophy and Maths) and my interests include music and gigs, nice beer , good chats and chilling with wine/beer at home/at pubs. I’m fairly self-contained and independent so would be hopefully looking for someone similar to take the room, but at the same time I’d def be up for being friends with my flatmate and would be keen for trips to the pub or hanging out at home together some evenings. Having friends over for dinner/ vino/ film nights once in a while would also be on the cards. Having a flatmate with a similar mindset would be fab (i. e. good balance of independence but wanting to hang out together sometimes lol ). I’m also tidy and clean and am looking for someone the same (probably with a cleaning rota situation).
