We have a room available in a 4 bed flat (with 2 toilets) just off the Meadows in Marchmont. 2 of the bedrooms will be occupied by a family (2 young children aged 4 and 6, grandparents and mother). We therefore have bedrooms to spare (but for non HMO reasons can only spare one) and will be happy to rent this out to help if anyone has difficulty finding a roof over their heads.
The preference would be for someone looking for a shorter term let (max around 3-4 months) and a professional for council tax reasons. We are looking for someone who wouldn't mind the company of children in the house, and is clean and considerate.
The flat is fully furnished and has a living room, kitchen, 4 separate bedrooms and 2 toilets. Each room will have a bed, desk and wardrobe.
The flat is very centrally located by the Meadows and the Bruntsfield Links, a 15-minute walk from Princess Street and the Old Town.
Bills, council tax are not included. Bills run up to around £50 -70 per month depending on the season, council tax around £70. There are no plans for broadband in the house for now as the adults each use our data phone plans as a hotspot for data purposes if required. Of course, if one is really keen, we are open to setting up broadband at home as well.
Rent: £650 + council tax (~£75) + bills (~£50-70 each). The above rate is for stays of at least 1 month.
Move in from now.
Am happy to consider shorter term duration but rates will likely differ depending on the duration. Do contact for more details.
