We are a family of five: mum, dad, three boys and a labradoodle called Rosie. Mum works from home, our oldest son studies full day and the two younger boys go to school in the mornings and attend some activities in the afternoon.

We have one single bedroom with a single size bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, bookcase, desk and chair. The monthly rent includes bills, Wi-Fi and cleaning materials.

In the ground floor we have a shared living room, breakfast room, kitchen shower room and a play room. The boys spend most of their time in their play room when at home.

We have some guidelines in our home. We don't take any visitors upstairs, we believe this way we respect each other's privacy and we don't have anyone staying overnight. There are plenty of rooms on the ground floor to socialise.

We are quiet and noise sometimes, but respectful and very happy. We have had few students staying with usand we have a real sense of community, embracing each others as part of one big family.

We are a Christian family and go to church most Sundays.

We live on the south side of the city approximately 2.5 miles from the city centre. There is good local shopping including Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury & Tesco's supermarkets, Morningside Post Office, a health centre, chemist, boutiques, delicatessens and some of Edinburgh's finest bars, bistros and restaurants are located nearby. The Royal Infirmary, the University of Edinburgh and the King's Buildings are all easily accessible. Bruntsfield Links and The Meadows are easily reached and a wide variety of pleasant walks may be enjoyed at Blackford Hill, Hermitage of Braid, Craiglockhart and Braidburn. There are also golf courses at Blackford Hill and Braid Hills. Regular bus services give access to the city centre.
