Sunny double room in Newington next to Meadows

Hello!

I'm Tom and I'm looking for a flatmate to share my home with. I'm offering a south-facing double room in Newington, just off the Meadows. I recently finished my PhD and am now a lecturer in Glasgow. I am easy-going and tidy, like to keep busy and be outside, and love meeting new people and trying new things.

The flat is on the third floor. The kitchen and living room are shared, as well as the bathroom (with a bath). There's a washing machine, and fridge-freezer. The garden is shared with all in the staircase (and their cats). It is centrally located right next to the Meadows with shops and all amenities just a few minutes from the flat. The University of Edinburgh George Square campus is a mere four minutes' walk and Holyrood Park is a leisurely eight minutes away.

The rent is £750, excluding bills (internet+gas&elec). Central gas heating, council tax band C. A month’s worth of rent is needed for deposit. The room is available from now (other than in August when I have a friend visiting) and you will have the flat all to yourself for almost the entirety of June while I am away on conferences.

Short-term lets and couples will be considered, but at a higher rate - we can discuss the details of these.
