Bright, furnished double bedroom looking onto garden (king size bed ) in peaceful lower villa/garden flat in Portobello.

Portobello is Edinburgh's Victorian seaside attraction and was recently voted by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in the UK. It’s a friendly, arty, bohemian, community.

The house is 2 mins walk from a long sandy beach and promenade, plenty of supermarkets, independent shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and galleries etc.

There is a sailing, rowing and kayaking club and a refurbished Victorian swimming pool with Turkish baths and gym facilities on the promenade also beach volleyball and many interesting cycle paths and parks nearby.

Regular buses are also within two minutes walk away and travel into the centre of Edinburgh takes approx 20 to 25 mins. In the opposite direction you can explore the East coast and countryside. If you drive the city bypass is close by and there is free on street parking.

The spaces you would be sharing in the house would be a large kitchen/dining room/sunroom sitting room (with double electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dish washer and fridge freezer) The sunroom opens onto a private garden. We would also share the bathroom, wet room/shower room. There is also a utility room with washing machine. The utility bills for gas, electric and broadband are included.
