Spare bedroom in quiet new build

I have a spare room to rent in my house in Little Plumstead. I’m not in any desperate need to fill the room so quite happy to wait for the right person.

The Room

Good size double with built in wardrobe. Bed provided and I’ll get hold of some bed side tables if required.

Whilst the room isn’t an en-suite, happy that the occupant has exclusive access to the bathroom immediately next door. I’m planning to extend the tiling and add a shower screen as well. So whilst not quite and en-suite, it’s pretty close!

The rest of the house is like any other house. Living room and kitchen for shared use. Washing machine and tumble dryer etc

The great thing about living in Little Plumstead is that there’s off road parking and lots of fields - but there’s not a lot else to do without getting in your car. That said, it’s perfectly located for the NDR and A47 and it’s about a 10/15 min drive to the city.

Me

I’m pretty quiet these days and work from home through most of the week. At the weekends I’ll usually be out and about seeing mates etc.

You

Ideally a similar kind of person - sociable (will hang out and have a few drinks now and then) but respectful of both needing our own space from time to time. The neighbours have got used to the quiet so if you’re looking for parties and playing loud music, this isn’t the house for you!

The other housemate is a 3 year old springer spaniel who likes nothing more than to sit on your head whilst you’re trying to chill out on the sofa. So if you’re not a dog person, probably not the one for you. Ideally you’ll like dogs and be ok with letting him outside now and then!

The only other thing to say is that I’m not looking for couples - I’m up for sharing the house with another person but not a third I’m afraid.
