There is a room available in my house in Thorpe Hamlet. It has a double bed and relevant bedroom furniture. It has a vintage feel to it as does the whole house. This is not a modern house but the price reflects this.
The house has a shared kitchen/diner, shared lounge and shared bathroom with bath and shower over the bath. The house is warm, tidy and clean.
The rent includes all bills including superfast broadband.
Thorpe Hamlet is very close to the train station and close to the city - about a 15 min walk into town. Close to the house there is a newsagents and corner shop. The location is really handy for the city and UEA as there is regular bus service to UEA which takes about 30 mins. There are buses to the hospital and John Innes from the train station, so it is really well connected.
You would need a parking permit to park on the street but these are quite reasonable.
I have lived in Thorpe Hamlet a long time and think that it is a great area because of its location.
Everyone in the house is very quiet but friendly - no wild parties going on! We all work during the day and share the cleaning of communal areas so the house is always tidy and clean.
