I am a retired academic, with one housemate, and I am looking for a second woman to rent a comfortable quiet room next to the bathroom (with good shower and bath). There is a shared sitting room and well equipped kitchen and the house is 15 mins walk to city and 30 min walk to UEA. We are friendly, busy people and looking for someone working, who also likes a peaceful home. We are tidy and have a weekly cleaner for basics like floors etc, and also care about the environment. So the heating is set to the 19 degree level recommended for net zero carbon targets and we run the heating all weekends and all evenings, but not during week days. So a home worker who needs heat all day may not work! I sometimes have family visiting, including toddlers, for short periods.
The garden is superb, there is a bus stop outside the house, broadband is fast and there is a wired connection in the bedroom. Rent includes council tax, energy bills, broadband and cleaner.
