Double Room/House Share

A comfortable double room in a garden fronted terraced house in Starbeck. 5 minutes level walk to the train station. The house is situated in a quiet spot close to lovely walks, park and local shops. There is a small south facing decked area perfect for sitting outside in warmer weather. Parking is on the road but there is no shortage of spaces and this is not a through road.
I am a retired health care professional and spend 3 to 4 days a week away looking after my mum who lives in Lancashire. I am very sociable but not intrusive. I have a very friendly little dog who goes almost everywhere with me There is a comfortable lounge with a lot burner that I love to share but I am in the process of creating a casual sitting room/study in the converted loft. This should allow some extra privacy for either of us should it be needed.
The bathroom is a good size with plenty of storage and a powerful tiled walk in shower.
I have a spacious well equipped dining kitchen. I am happy to share food and cooking of some meals. There is a large fridge freezer and plenty of room for your food storage.
I have house shared before and have really enjoyed the company and interaction. Looking forward to doing it again.
