We are offering a small bright single furnished attic room (2 flights of stairs). The room has fitted carpet, a single ottoman storage bed, a bedside set of 3 small drawers, a set of large drawers, built in floor to ceiling shelves, a large built-in deep cupboard with 2 shelves and a 3ft hanging rail, there is a folding chair and a small folding table for laptop use. There is a key lock on door. You are responsible for insuring you own belongings. Bedding and towels can be provided if required. Room let is available subject to viewing and references/ID clearing.

The sitting room is our occasional space but you are welcome to use it. There is a shared bathroom & kitchen with your own Freezer drawer, Fridge shelf and kitchen cupboard space. Washing machine & drying facilities (Laundry can be washed & dried for you at no extra cost)., Central heating, Mains wired smoke alarms & Carbon monoxide detector, Fast broadband. There is off street parking, Tidy kept garden which you are are welcome to use through summer.

I am a mature professional Holistic Therapist/Tutor & live with my 33 year old musician son & Indian female lodger who is a carer. We offer a happy, warm, friendly, clean non smoking quiet environment in modern easy-going surroundings with minimal house rules. The no.10 York First bus runs every 35 minutes to city centre. The bus stop is across the road from the house. York is 15 mins by car.

We are looking to rent to a professional full time working male/female 22 years-70 who will respect our home and be clean & conscientious, private & tidy. A glass half full person, easy going, cheerful and a good sense of humour is essential. Non-smoker preferred. Vegetarian preferred but not essential.
