Gorgeous small attic double room available in comfortable large home from beginning of June 2022.

I am looking for a respectful professional female lodger over 25 years old. I have a cosy newly decorated double attic room available in the lovely home with new shared bathroon which I share with one professional female lodger, my springador and cat.

This lodging is not available to professionals who work from home.

The village of Nether Poppleton has excellent public transport links to York ( First Bus 10, Park & Ride Poppleton & Poppleton railway station on Leeds- Harrogate line) and is close to the ring road/A64 whilst benefiting from being located in a beautiful and quiet village. There is a cafe, newsagents, post office, hairdressers, butchers & general stores within 10 minute walk. Also a pub serving food (Lord Nelson) within 5 minutes. walk. This is your nearest bus stop too.

The room has a comfy small double bed and inbuilt desk/dressing table. Please note there is no wardrobe but there is a small hanging rail available. It is centrally heated. It is noisy when it rains but you do get to lie in bed and stargaze. This is a small room but it does have an inbuilt desk with chair which can double up as a dressing table.

All bills included (council tax, water, electricity & gas) plus very fast York Fibre Optic broadband.

I am looking for a friendly, clean and tidy professional to join a happy and settled home. Please do not apply if you are a student unless you also have a part-time job as I require a professional reference.

Sense of humour and two references essential. ( professional & personal)

I will use a lodger agreement as I feel this ensures everyone has the same expectations . I am ideally looking for a lodger who would be looking at staying for 6+ months. My present lodger is moving on after 6 happy months to her own flat..
