Master Double Room available in York

Hi, I'm Ali, and I'm renting out the master double bedroom in my house in York. I'm moving down to London soon and looking for someone to take good care of the room and the house. I'm very sad to be leaving my lovely current housemate Matt and want to find someone with similar interests and hobbies, who is easy-going, clean & tidy and respectful. Female preferred to keep the balance. 😊

About the house...
The house is deceptively spacious and bright,
There is a front reception room featuring a log burner, a separate living room & dining area with a skylight and sliding patio doors opening up to the garden. The living room has a large comfy sofa, a 50" 4K ultra-HD TV mounted on the wall and speakers with Bluetooth connectivity. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities: fridge/freezer, gas hob, Miēle oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, slow cooker, utensils, crockery, tumblers, wine glasses, gin glasses (enough of everything for 6 people as this was required for when I was using air bnb!) There is also a utility room with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board all available for you to use. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one is occupied by Matt, one is a spare room that I will leave empty in case I need to visit, and yours will be the master bedroom. Your room is fully furnished with a double bed, brand new mattress, bedside tables with lamps, dressing table with mirror and chair, full length mirrored sliding wardrobes (tons of storage!). It is a bright room with plenty of light coming through the large south-facing window.
The bathroom upstairs has a shower in bath with a large rain shower head and heated towel rack. There is also a downstairs toilet and downstairs shower room.
Free on-street parking (I always find a space to park outside!) Lockable garage in the garden for bike storage if you need it.

A bit about the area:
The house is located in Holgate. The neighbours either side of the house and along the street are all lovely, it's a really friendly area!
York town centre can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. You can walk down Water End and then down by the River Ouse for a scenic route or take the historic route via Micklegate Bar. York train station is a 30 minute walk or 10 minutes in a taxi. There are regular buses into York centre every 10 to 15 minutes. The bus stop is less than 10 minutes walk from my house.
Nearest supermarket is Morrisons in Acomb, and Nisa local is a 1 minute walk around the corner. There are two local pubs both walkable within 10 minutes.

A little bit about Matt..
He lives a wholesome and healthy lifestyle, enjoys yoga and cooking/baking (he honestly bakes the most incredible treats!) He is a dentist working at a dental practice in Selby and York hospital. A real gem to live with :)

The money part...
£500pcm is inclusive of TV licence, Netflix and Amazon, and a monthly cleaner. Additional bills for water, gas, electricity, council tax, broadband are not included (these come to between £100-£150 each pcm)
