I am moving out of our lovely city centre flat and the existing tenant would like a new flatmate to take up a quiet double room within the property. All bills included for your peace of mind.

The flat is PERFECTLY located within York, within the city walls by The Grand Hotel just minutes from the train station with less than 5 minute walking access to Micklegate, the river and all that York city centre has to offer. Added benefit of private gated CAR PARK with access which could be negotiated with the landlord.

The room itself is a good sized double and comes furnished with double bed, canvas/wood wardrobe as well as built in cupboard with hanging space. Happy to discuss adding or taking away furniture as required.

The existing flatmate is an art loving legal assistant who works from home most of the time. The flat is always clean and pretty zen so it would be expected that you uphold this.

You can keep yourself to yourself or socialise and watch Netflix in the communal living space. You will also have designated space in the kitchen for food and equipment and this will be respected as if it were your own home.

Ideal flatmate would be a female professional or mature student with similar interests although not essential.

Video viewings and face to face viewings accepted. Looking to move by early January but this could be sooner for the right person.

The photos from the initial rental listing are included but the flat is now furnished to a lovely modern standard including our houseplant collection! Better photos to follow once we can get some decent daylight.
