Large double room with high-quality ensuite facilities available (for 1 person only) on the top floor of a 3 storey modern house in Dringhouses. Very convenient for Tesco supermarket (24 hours) and numerous buses into town 4 minutes walk away. The landlord (professionally, the Director of a Counselling and Mediation organisation) is looking for a single professional person, not too noisy and with a good sense of humour.

The house is very friendly without 'living in each other's pocket'. The previous 2 tenants have both been PhD students at York University who say they enjoyed the peaceful nature of the place so that they could work - you don't have to be a PhD student to apply, but you do need to know that we are not a wild party establishment :-).

Finally, it's important that you are comfortable with maybe being 'home alone' for periods - the landlord and other tenant are often away working - If our home sounds like it might be what you are looking for please email me and we can arrange to meet up (online initially) so we can talk further.
