Room to rent in lovely home

I’m a professional, friendly, young at heart woman originally South African, with a lovely family home in Rawcliffe, York and have a double room to rent out. There is a separate bathroom and toilet which are yours to use but may need to be shared with my sons should they come home from Uni (but they could use my bathroom if needed).

I have two sons (aged 20 and 19) who don’t live here most of the time - they do come back for holidays.

I work from home doing marketing for tech companies. Sometimes I stay at my boyfriend’s house. Sometimes he stays with me. When he does, he brings his black lab so if you have an issue with dogs, it won’t be for you despite her not being here often. More often than not I go to him. He runs an adventure travel business so is often away, leaving me alone - hence getting a lodger!

The room comes furnished. The house has a big family kitchen, two sitting rooms and a small but lovely garden. Parking is on street directly outside the house (part street/part pavement).

I love hiking and the outdoors and like to head off on adventures. Equally happy to have a glass of wine or cook together or just give you own space entirely!

No pets, kids, couples, smokers, drug users or late night party animals please. I’m fairly tidy and would like whoever lives here to keep things that way.
