Live in landlord - newly decorated double bedroom, new bed, new mattress, smart TV, with all the usual Apps, room has ample storage available. There are 3 USB connections as well as Apple C lighting cable connection in the room. There is also a Bose Bluetooth speaker, which you can connect to for your tunes or audiobooks.
The room is south east facing and receives sun from east to west for majority of day. Windows have wooden shutters. (See video of room)
Room is available now, £600 pcm. One month’s rent is required in advance, payable on moving into property. All bills included (Except for any personal items you may need). Laundry will be washed and dried as part of the rent payment. If you prefer to do your own laundry that’s ok as well.
A casual standard room rental agreement is required between landlord and tenant. Reference will be required.
Bathroom, kitchen, garden and living room will be shared. (No smoking or vaping)
Living room is spacious with two large sofas, dining room table and access to large garden. Living room TV has Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Now TV, Disney + etc..
Shared Kitchen is fitted with all the usual suspects, oven, microwave, air fryer etc.
Shared Bathroom is spacious (see video) with walk in shower, no bath tub.
Property has 3 spaniels, they only have access to the ground floor. They’re not allowed upstairs as this area will always remain pet free. (See photo of dogs). Tenant must be comfortable and confident around dogs. If this isn’t you, I would advise the opportunity to share our home would not be for you.
I am vegetarian, my preference would be to room with another vegetarian/vegan, although I’m flexible on this for the right tenant. My roomie will ideally have a good sense of humor, (no moody people) be open to sharing all of the house areas and be at ease watching TV in shared living space for example, or sharing a meal, also a non smoker/vaper, light drinker or doesn't drink alcohol is preferred. No issue if you need to decompress in your own space as I respect and support that if that’s your choice.
I am retired, have lots of free time, volunteer on a local community project several mornings a week and some weekends. Quite active because of the dogs, minimal of 3 long walks a day due to breed. Quite chatty and enjoy conversation.
LGBTQ friendly home, prefer to share with another male, gay/Bi, straight or however you identify, preferable you would be a mature 32+ upwards. Ideally have a full time job and works in office or on site. Shift workers considered, but not night workers as I am retired and will likely make too much noise during daytime hours.
Property is in Dudley NE23 7, space for additional car on drive front of house. Great location for major link roads, A189 & A19 are less than 3 minutes away, A1 is approx 7 mins away via A19.
