Large 5 bed detached house in village with full amenities. We are a professional couple who work full time, and enjoy relaxed evenings and weekends. En suite room available - double with adjacent study/sitting room for lodger's own use. Fully furnished with wardrobe, drawers and shelves, desk. Light, south facing room. Access to shared large kitchen/dining room, utility with own fridge and store cupboards. Also large garden with garden room/studio to use by arrangement. Safe parking on quiet road or small car will fit on drive. Fully inclusive of household bills, including high speed broadband (good for home workers)
Non-smokers essential.
We have pets: 1 very quiet, non-invasive dog, 1 cat, hens.
Would suit students from Trent Uni (Brackenhurst campus is 10 minutes drive), or professionals. Own transport ideal, but hourly buses to Newark, Southwell, Nottingham, Mansfield. Convenient for A1 and M1 if travelling. Equi-distant to Newark, Nottingham and Mansfield (15-20 mins). 2 mins to A614 and A617. Great area for walking and cycling. Off road bridleway to Southwell and Bilsthorpe. Quick access to Rufford and Clumber Parks and Sherwood Pines.
September to May contracts for students if required, others by negotiation, including weekly. Short term and midweek only rental considered as well as couples with adjustments to rent.
Looking for a reasonably quiet, tidy lodger who is self sufficient but happy to chat when passing or sharing large, homely kitchen.
Available late August onwards.
