Young Professional Wanted.

Hi there,

I am new to SpareRoom, so I wanted to share a bit about the house and who you would be living with (we are yet to upload any interior photos but send a message and we can send some over).

I currently live in West Bridgford an affluent and highly thought of area in Nottingham that is home to young professionals and families. I live with with one house mate and are both working professionals. I work in Nottingham as a Planning Consultant and my house mate works as a sports engineer and product designer. We met at university and have been friends for the last 7 years. We have lived together for the last 18 months.

The house has three bedrooms and a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Downstairs there is a full kitchen (with underfloor heating) with all of the expected white goods except a tumble dryer. There is also a good sized dining room, a living room, and a decent garden at the back. Parking is on the street. There are lots of local amenities nearby and it is easy to get to the shops and the train station.

We are both keen rowers, which means we are out training a lot, so you would have plenty of personal space. My house mate’s partner is also a rower and is studying for a PhD, and she is often around but does not live with us full time.

My house mate works from home during the week, and I usually have one day a week working from home. We have been thinking about having another house mate because the top floor is currently only used as an office. The room would be unfurnished if someone was to move in.

My house mate is currently away in China for work for the next two weeks. I would need to discuss things with him properly when he is back before we make any decisions.

We have not made a final choice yet. We are just seeing what kind of young professionals might be a good fit. We are both easy going, clean, tidy, sociable and good fun to live with.

The house comes with a full compliment of streaming services (Apple TV+, Amazing Prime, Disney+, Netflix, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports and TNT Sports) all of which would be free to use and not part of any bills.

We are located within Council Tax Band B.
