Large Double Room in North Abingdon

Lovely, light & spacious double room, with lots of storage space, which has recently been redecorated.

There is a main bus route, less than a minute's walk from the house, to Oxford City Centre, Brookes, JR Hospital etc, with buses running approx every 15 minutes, In the other direction to Abingdon town centre Milton Park, Didcot, Wantage etc. Off street parking is also available for car owners.

Driving distances are:

Culham Science Centre - 5.1 miles
Milton Park - 7.6 miles
Didcot Parkway Station - 7.6 miles
Harwell Science Centre - 10.3 miles
Mini Plant Oxford - 6.9 miles

I am friendly, accommodating, and very approachable.
I have 2 lodgers living here already. One (Portuguese female) has been living here for over 7 years, the other (Indian male) has been here for 2 years. We all get on really well, and respect each other’s space and privacy .

The room is for single occupancy only, no couples.

Rent includes use of domestic appliances, broadband etc. Bills, and council tax are included in the rent. There is a shared bathroom upstairs and a separate cloakroom downstairs. I would prefer not to have someone who likes to spend a long time in the kitchen cooking.

Please note that this is not a shared house as I live in, so more suitable for a lodger rather than a housemate.

It’s helpful if you don’t mind dogs, I have a small friendly one.

I have had a few shorter term stays in the past, but it doesn't really suit me as it's very disruptive, so I would prefer a minimum of 6 months. I will consider Monday to Friday at a reduced priced.

I don't mind smokers but strictly outside in the garden (no smoking in the house).
