I am a mature, professional woman seeking a single, professional, tidy, responsible non-smoker to share my lovely (usually quiet) Victorian semi on a no-through road in the Thames-side town of Abingdon.

The beautiful, spacious bedroom consists of a comfortable king-sized bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and is at the front of the house with plenty of natural light.

The private en-suite bathroom is equipped with shower, loo and hand basin; there is shelf and cupboard space for toiletries. Bedlinen and towels provided. The bedroom will occasionally be used at weekends by visiting family and friends but you are welcome to leave your belongings.

The room is available 5 nights a week (preferably Sunday - Thursday).

There is an open plan kitchen/diner with access to the pretty south-facing garden with terrace and garden furniture for your use. Fridge/freezer/larder space will be made available for you. There is a microwave and an electric cooker with gas hob.

Visitors by pre-arrangement only.

There is free on-street parking available. There is a wall anchor for a bike lock; this is not under cover.

Rent includes bills and is payable monthly in advance. I will require two week's rent as deposit, proof of id and a reference. The room is available from early March.

Abingdon is well-placed for the employment hubs of Didcot and Oxford, with regular buses serving both. The house is within easy reach of the A34 if driving to Didcot or Oxford, both about 20 minutes away. Harwell Science Campus is also a 20 minute drive; Culham Science Centre is 15 minutes away. Didcot Parkway offers a fast and frequent train service into Reading.

All the amenities of Abingdon are available within a pleasant 20 minute walk of the house: shops, restaurants, pubs, gyms, parks and riverside walks.
