Fantastic room WITH ENSUITE will soon become available in Banbury, Oxfordshire (easy to get into Bicester / Oxford City / London from here, by road or rail). It’s currently being extensively redecorated, ready for you to make it your home...

This is a must-see:- the room comes with new carpets, solid pine double bed, bedside tables, two large wardrobes with shelves (my previous lodgers needed LOTS of hanging space for clothes!), chest of drawers and TV with DVD player and NowTV Movies & Entertainment packages are included in the rent. I’m happy to consider anything else required to make it as comfortable and homely for you...

The room is a large double, with ensuite:- toilet, shower, sink and storage drawers.

The house is warm, sunny, and quiet (away from the M40 and a little out of the town centre, but still easily walkable to both the shops and train station along the lovely Oxford canal). It has a large rear garden with huge composite decking area with table and chairs, BBQ, outdoor lighting and swing-chair to relax in: a real sun-trap! This backs onto parkland so ideally located for taking a walk after work (I have included a map on the photos so you can see how green and open it is here).

Safety & security: for peace of mind, PIR security lighting surrounds the house, mains-powered smoke detectors throughout the property, plus carbon monoxide alarm next to the high-efficiency boiler (Gas Safe Certificate available). The house has new high-security uPVC doors, lockable double-glazed windows and additional security features throughout.

For the rest of the house, well, it really is best to view. There is a driveway for off-street parking, large kitchen (all newly fitted with sparkly worktops!) with all the usual facilities including fridge-freezer, washing machine, four-ring hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, omelette maker, Actifry, breakfast bar and dining table. Spacious lounge with huge corner sofa, 42” smart TV (again, with NowTV Entertainment and Movies pass included), Alexa (I challenge you to beat my score on "Yes Sire!"), cosy fireplace, etc. Family bathroom with rainforest-drench shower (as well as an ordinary one) and deep-fill bath.

Bills are included in the rent:- unlimited broadband, gas, electricity, water, council tax...and happy to help you move if you’re not coming from too far away. Unlike many others, there’s no hidden costs here (referencing or contract fees etc): £590 rent (per calendar month) covers everything. Plus, THE RENT IS FIXED FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY, again, giving you peace of mind.

For myself, I’m 35, work full-time (sustainability projects to tackle climate change and using the built environment to combat ill-health) so am away from the house for much of the day, plus some weekends, hence you have a lot of freedom of the whole house, whether I'm there or not! I enjoy cooking (or attempting to at least!) and a cosy night in with a film. Definitely like helping people (I'm a member of various charitable volunteer groups), and really easy to get along with. I'm vegetarian, so if you are veggie/vegan too, this is ideal for you, but you don't have to be :)
