Town Centre Family Home w/Parking & Large Garden

ABOUT THE ROOM

We have a bright and airy single room with lots and lots of drawer storage for rent. It has evening sun.

Off street parking space included.

The room has sound glass windows, which makes it quiet despite being on a road, which is usually only busy in the day. A black out blind has been installed since this photo.

Bedding provided. Hanging is available on the back of the door.

There is a screen in the room for you to stream your own Netflix or Prime videos. It does not have TV channels available.

Bills, council tax, wifi, toilet roll and detergents are included.

No deposit is requested. We want someone who we wouldn't require a deposit from.

ABOUT US

We are a family of 3, including a funny, kind, gentle, confident and affectionate 5 year old girl (at school until 6pm). I am 35, female and a business owner who works from home. My husband is male, 41, and a shift worker (who sleeps in our garden room when on certain shifts) and enjoys cycling.

We have a cat.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our daughter has specified a kind, friendly, considerate lodger. We do not have any judgement or preference on sexual orientation, race, gender, religion etc.

We are open to short, medium or long term stays.

We'd like someone who values general wellbeing, movement of any kind, socialising to whatever level is comfortable.

Working from home regularly would not be suitable, as I already do so.

Constant shift work would also not work as part of our family household.

OUR HOME

It is a 3 bed house right in the centre of town, but with a big garden and garden room for relaxed evenings or meals. We have one family bathroom upstairs with a decent shower and separate bath. There is a back up toilet downstairs if needed.

We have a lounge and kitchen, with additional storage areas.

8 minutes walk from Bicester Village Train Station (for Oxford and London). 10-15 minutes from Bicester Village shopping village. Within 5 mins walk to Sainsbury's and Aldi, all restaurants in town and bus stop to Oxford. Less than a minute walk to Garth Park.

We had a former lodger for the past 3.5 years who only moved to relocate for work. We currently have an 8 month lodger who is here for a work placement. Both have fitted into our home wonderfully.
