Cosy cottage house share

H there! I'm looking for a lodger/housemate to live with me and my cat George. I live in a warm and homely cottage set across 3 floors with a sunny, south facing garden. There are lovely neighbours either side and gorgeous views. The location is very quiet, tucked away and only a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre.

The room is fully furnished room with a king size bed, built in wardrobe, full length mirror, wall shelves, and a bedside storage. Optional desk, chair, small storage cupboard units, lamps etc can also be provided as preferred.

House rules are usual- any guests let me know, keep noise at a respectful level before 7am and after 10pm in the week etc. Preferably no home workers or shift workers. I am looking for someone who is considerate and fairly mellow. They need to be reliable, trustworthy and respectful of the house. You are expected to clean your own room and help take care of the shared spaces and cleans up after themselves.

Ideally you will get along with cats; this one has quite a personality - he is very curious and friendly.

About me - I'm an independent female professional in my mid thirties. I work full time and tend to keep busy but also enjoy being at home. I am friendly, relaxed and approachable and interested in meeting new people and exploring new places. I have travelled a lot and have a career in international development and research.

Im happy either way if you are someone who wants to hang out on occasion- watch a film, have dinner together etc or if you prefer to keep to yourself. The kitchen, bathroom and living spaces are all shared. It's important to me that you feel comfortable living here, that we get along well and we can have open and civil conversations abouts any matters arising with regards to the house. All bills are included in the rent! (TV licence, gas, elec, council tax, internet, water)
