Lovely Double Room in Cowley

I will be moving out of the house at the end of April for a new job elsewhere, so we’re looking for one friendly person to take over my room in our little home on the wonderful Magdalen Road (we might be biased, but we think it’s the best road in Oxford!).

About the housemates:
We’re Anna and Owen, both in our mid-late 20s, friendly and easygoing, and we’ve really made this house a home. We’ve lived here for a while and love the mix of cosy evenings in, the occasional pub trip, and the lovely community on our street.

About the house:

- One good-sized, furnished double room available

- Cosy communal living room and a bright kitchen

- Shared bathroom between three

- A little spare room/office that’s great for WFH or having friends stay

- A big garden (perfect for morning coffee!)

- Parking space available

Brilliant location — about a 25-minute walk or 15-minute cycle to the city centre/hospitals, and close to main bus routes

Magdalen Road is full of lovely independent shops and cafes, and it really feels like a little community. We love living here! 💛

Rent & bills:

£634 per month + approx. £130 - £150 bills (Council Tax band D, energy, water, Wi-Fi)

All the furniture comes in the room apart from the long mirror, white shelves and bin!

We’re looking for someone who’ll treat the house with respect and enjoy living here as much as we do — whether that means a shared glass of wine in the evening or a quiet night with Netflix. Open to young professionals or postgrads (roughly 23–35), but we’re flexible if it’s the right fit.

We’re hoping for someone to move in around the first weekend of May, and we’ll be arranging viewings largely from the 15th-18th of April, but please get in touch if that really doesn't work for you.
